After Saturday’s second semi-final match between SC Magdeburg and HC Erlangen, the final decision will be made in Sunday, April 24 from 1:25 p.m. in the final, who takes home the DHB Cup.

In February, the DHB Cup semifinals qualified for the quarterfinals for the next Final Four tournament in Hamburg. The defense of TBV champion Lemgo Lippe was able to play in the semifinals after a postponement with a confident 28:24 victory against MT Melsungen.
Bundesliga leaders SC Magdeburg also clearly won their quarter-finals against TSV GWD Minden with 34:26, while record champions THW Kiel had to tremble a little more in the 26:24 victory over Rhein-Neckar Löwen. HC Erlangen also beat VfL Gummersbach by a narrow margin of 29:27 and was the fourth team to secure a ticket to the Final Four.
